PASTOR JEFF PHILLIPS
Pastor Jeff was called as pastor of West Chester Baptist Church on August 6, 2023. His first day was August 27, 2023. Pastor Jeff is from Greenville, SC where he graduated from Wade Hampton High School. He pursued a career in business eventually owning his own business from 1996-2008. He also worked for the Atlanta Braves, sold real estate and managed retail stores.
He was saved and called to the ministry in 2003 at Peniel Baptist Church in Timmonsville, SC, where he served in lay ministry including as a deacon. He began in the ministry as an Assistant Pastor of Evangelism and Pastoral Care at East Pickens Baptist Church in Pickens, SC, who licensed and ordained him in September of 2005. In January of 2008 he began serving as pastor of Oakland Baptist Church in Chesterfield, SC. While in Chesterfield, he was joined in the ministry by his wife Ashley when they were married in October, 2008. In July, 2011, he began serving as pastor of Woodfield Park Baptist Church in Columbia, SC where he remained until being called by West Chester. While there, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from The Christian College of Georgia (The Disciples College) in 2017.
His hobbies include fishing, camping, Clemson athletics and Cleveland professional baseball and football. He is the son of former legendary Clemson radio announcer Jim Phillips.

PASTORAL INTERN BUDDY MANN
Buddy has been a member of West Chester Baptist Church for 4 years. He currently serves as a Deacon and in June of 2023 felt called to the ministry. Saved at age 16, he is a 1996 graduate of Chester High School. For the last 8 years, he has been the area manager for STRADA in Columbia. He is joined in the ministry by his wife of 13 years, Angel. Buddy has 2 children and 4 "bonus" children through Angel, along with 7 grandchildren.
